16DIGITAL has moved to Music Row in Nashville!
In May, 16DIGITAL officially relocated to historic Music Row in Nashville, TN. The move completes our transition from South Central Digital to 16DIGITAL, a rebranding process which began in July of 2015.
“Music Row is truly the hub of Nashville’s growing creative community,” says 16DIGITAL president Michael Guess. “We’re excited about what this move represents, namely an opportunity to work in the center — both creatively and locationally — of what makes this city special.”
Creative Director and Partner Andy Barrow, who joined 16DIGITAL in 2015, spearheaded the re-brand and took just two weeks to transform the tired property (above) into 16DIGITAL’s new home. “It has its quirks, but it’s just what we were looking for,” Andy says. “It comes complete with its own theme park rides [he laughs], the floors are crazy warped. It’s been fun watching each other slide all over the conference room!”
The new space allows ample room for personnel growth, with new members scheduled to come on board over the next few months.
The little blue house has always been a point of interest on many of the Nashville Tour Bus routes; in fact, it’s where George Strait’s song “Baby Blue” was written. Songwriters still meet in the basement studio, and through the old duct system we can hear them crafting the songs of the future.
